Sat. 9/27-Sun. 9/28/08- Pacing Grant Carboni at 2008 Rio Del Lago 100 mile run. Karyn paced 21 miles starting at 7:45pm from Twin Rocks (mile 62) to Mountain Lion Knoll (mile 83); arriving at 1:10am. Mike paced 17 miles, starting at 1:15pm from Mountain Lion Knoll (mile 83) to the finish at Cavitt Jr. High School (mile 100) both team pacers successfully getting Grant to a PR and sub 24 hr 100 finish in 23:40:52!

Btw, Grant's recent Bride and ultra-runner Leslie successfully finished in a PR of 26:05:07! Another tough ultra-running chik! Go "run like a girl" and like Leslie!

Congrats to Grant, Leslie and the rest of our friends running this epic event!

It was a long and sleepless weekend for Karyn and I but well worth supporting & pacing friends for another Epic Adventure!
